Fashion Weeks 2011:
Indian Designers are venturing out of their geographical boundaries, more pre-dominantly in to the Middle East. Often Lakme Fashion Week, Van Heusen India Men's Week, Indian Bridal Fashion Week and the likes highlight the glamour facet so much that the trade facade is uncared for!
This time some of the Indian designers who will showcase their collection in Dubai Fashion Week 2011 (April 19 -23) will be Aarti Vijay Gupta, Parul Chopra, Aditi Jaggi Rastogi, Gaurav Gupta, Meher & Riddhima, Reynu Tandon, Ekta Singh, Hemant & Nandita, Surbhi Jaggi among others.
“My designs made in Mumbai are quite suitable for Dubai fashionistas too and I see a lucrative market lying there for Indian designers in the Middle East,” reveals Aartivijay Gupta, the young designer from Mumbai who participated in the Lakme Fashion Week recently.
